End of the season half: win again!

Today we played our last game of the first half of the season. Just before the break, we managed to smash a second strong win in a row, this time against an average side Nomaderna. We started with a rather quick goal where Saji’s pass found Armin who scored the first goal. Then, Saji’s corner from the left side found Vasilis who scored a header, 2:0! The third goal was scored by Armin from Moudar’s pass. After that, a mistake in our defence lead or a goal for the opponents, 3:1. Soon they managed to reduce our advantage, making things a bit shaky, 3:2. We managed to keep the score until the half-time break. Fortunately, we had more subs than our opponents who started getting tired in the second half. We exploited that well, and Saji with a solo run scored our fourth goal, 4:2. Then Christian found Ale with a pass, and Ale scored the fifth, 5:1. Finally, the last goal was scored by Chris from Saji’s pass. It should be noted that in the second half we managed our nerves much better, and the game became much more combinational, with lots of passing and enjoyable to watch. We had many more chances, but the current score is already very good. Also, one has to note good saves from Emin which were crucial in the shaky phase of the game in the first half,  helping us retain the score. All in all, great game, hope we can continue on this positive note after the season break. Man of the match: Saji!
